Our restaurant “Nach Amerika” is opened from 11.00 – 18.00 o’ clock and serves modern meals as well as dishes from the “good ol’ days”. People with a sweet tooth can find muffins, Doughnuts, cakes and cookies.

Our shop offers everything concerning emigration from books to radio plays and souvenirs.

The BallinStadt is also a place for unique events in an unforgettable location. May it be your jubilee or corporate event – we prepare, launch and cater an outstanding experience!

Including a visit of our exhibition, where the history of emigration comes back to life, you and your up to 140 guests will experience more than just an event. Feeling as if you were walking through the streets of New York of the 1920’s and simulating the journey from Europe to the United States is a refreshing addition to your event. If you wish we can even hire a theatre group performing a play about emigration live during your festivity.

On the spacious grounds of our museum, which can also be divided into several areas, we are able to launch most different events with the help of the experienced staff which always have a helping hand.
